The Night We Helped At Our Group's Annual General Meeting

Is it just that we are all good looking or a case of it's not what you know. Either way, we were asked to help out and cater for our Group's Annual General Meeting on the 14th May. It wasn't that bad though as while the meeting was going on, we got to eat nearly all the food.

The Intrepid Leader did his usual thing and used the night to present a few badges and the Duke Of Edinburgh plaque.

Our thanks go the Dale's mum who was the photographer.

The Unit lined up prior to the commencement of the A.G.M.. We've grow a bit haven't we.

After all the boring stuff was over, the Intrepid Leader made some presentations.

First it was Matthew's Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award

Hmm, smile Matthew.

Ambre, Matthew and Kieran with our Duke of Edinburgh's Award plaque.

Moving on, Matthew being presented with his Service Award.

Kieran with his Service Award

and Ambre with the first of her 'bases' - Community Involvement and Personal Growth.

Only two and a half badges and four months to go.

Leonie and Anne saying 'Farewell' after years of service on the Group Committee.

Lesley (Ambre's mum) and Anne (Dale's mum). Jointly they had in excess of 22 years service to 1st Deer Park. They will be sorely missed and very hard to replace.
