The 21st September saw Kororoit Zone's Annual Hamburger Eating Competition, this time hosted by Bonfield Venturers at the hall in Keilor Village. Numbers were down, but Venturers from Phu Dong, Bonfield, Melton District and Central Venturer Units ate their way through enough hamburgers to make them ill.

Just in case you are wondering, the rules for the competition are :

- the competitors have to eat as many hamburgers as they can in the 15 minute time limit

- the judge's decision will be final and based on the most hamburgers fully eating

- each Unit must have a team of 2 Venturers

- the hamburgers will be served with 2 slices of sandwich sliced white bread for each hamburger

- each participant can have tomato and / or BBQ sauce and / or mustard on their hamburgers but there is to be no cheese, onions or any other topping

- drinks of the host Unit's choice will be available.

So to the scores:

Congratulations to Paul from Central Venturers for making a pig of himself. This means Central Venturers gets to host next year's event.
